We all have some of that, so I know I'm no better than others.

Snarky is basically sarcastic, or irreverent.Nathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13920234350446745482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741227658356358863.post-75073381267638415282009-12-15T12:24:31.204-08:002009-12-15T12:24:31.204-08:00By the way, what exactly is "snarky?"By the way, what exactly is "snarky?"spldbchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05505641654468777964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741227658356358863.post-25467552683253982222009-12-15T12:24:02.191-08:002009-12-15T12:24:02.191-08:00I wonder if the problem might really be with chang...I wonder if the problem might really be with change. People have a hard time with change, myself included. So when someone tries to incorporate new practices into a pre-existing religion, set of spiritual teachings, institution, etc. people are bound to resist.

And yet, as you said, change is inevitable. Not all change is good but neither is all change bad. She ripped me twice for comments I made on a post a few months ago, and I notice an unwillingness to fairly engage people who ask legitimate questions or offer alternative views in a respectful way. I continue to read her posts at times, though, because she's bringing up some important topics, even if I don't agree with how she handles them.
<Nathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13920234350446745482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741227658356358863.post-11475188710750868892009-12-15T03:54:16.371-08:002009-12-15T03:54:16.371-08:00Excellent post Nathan, well thought out critque of...Excellent post Nathan, well thought out critque of Barbara's post.Kylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14925360776637168540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-741227658356358863.post-21644929099840552882009-12-14T19:10:20.401-08:002009-12-14T19:10:20.401-08:00I stopped reading her blog a few posts back. In fact, she seems to have become more snarky and less objective in her posts lately so I deleted her feed. She totally misses the heart of the issue and it reflects in her attitude, especially toward Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
